The Council on Aging is pleased to announce a perfect way to support services for COA memory services and for the almost 4,000 St. Johns County residents currently dealing with brain trauma, Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementias. Take a look… it’s as easy as one…two…swing!

Mark your calendars for this year’s COA Sunshine Golf Tournament, scheduled for Friday, March 31st, at 1:30 pm at the St. Johns Golf and Country Club, located at 205 St. Johns Golf Drive. This tournament is a Captain’s Choice event and includes a BBQ Buffet and Awards Ceremony. The Cost is $100 per golfer or $380 per team of four. (For non-golfers, buffet only is available for $22 per person.) Registration starts at noon but come early and participate in the putting contest – you could win $1000!! In addition, there are several sponsorship opportunities available – from $100 hole sponsorships to a $5000 title sponsorship.

BEACHCOMBER AND COLUMBIA CONTRIBUTE TO OUR COMMUNITY!
Many, many thanks to Don and Ashley Samora, Steve and Danielle LeClair and all the good folks at the Beachcomber Restaurant for raising almost $6,000 at this year’s Beachcomber Classic held at Marsh Creek Country Club! All proceeds to to COA’s Care Connection Program and the Crises Relief Fund.

Our gratitude and appreciation to Richard Gonzmart, President, the Columbia Restaurant Group, and the Gonzmart family, founders of the Columbia, for again including COA in their Columbia Community Harvest Program. This year, the program returned over $200,000.00 to more than 100 non-profits throughout the state of Florida. We are honored to be among them.

SANTA IS ON HIS SLEIGH…AND HE’S HEADED TO THE SANDBAR!
